Instructor of Record
This course introduces students to the different facets of media work by interacting with media professionals. Students meet and learn about the trajectories, successes, challenges and lessons experienced by journalists, public relations experts, advertising consultants, film makers, and other media professionals during their careers. During these interactions students ask questions and establish networks with these professionals. My role as an instructor in this class is to coordinate these meetings, virtually or in person, guide the interaction between students and professionals, facilitate lively discussions and challenge students to reflect on what they have learned from these interactions.
